7:45 Depart Fort Lauderdale Discovery Cruise Lines
Bob White, co-chair of inbounds 6990, emails exchangees in advance to inform them to be punctual and to bring their passports. Not everything worked as planned. Most of exchangees arrived on time with their necessary travel documents. A Rotexer shows up at that time but forgets to bring his travel documents. Perfect example of what not do to when you're an exchange student. 2 other exchange students have to fly over with Tom, Inbound Coordinator 6990. They are citizens of Thailand and require Visas to enter the country. They leave with Tom to go to Miami to get their visas just before Discovery departs and the lone Rotexer returns with both his passports and greencard. Bon Voyage! |

Meanwhile . . . what went on under deck? |
In the lounge, we met an interesting pianist named Don who took an interest in our exchange program. He even took some requests and dedicated a few songs to us. Then the girls showed us that they know how to dance the Macarena while the boys watched. We gave him our web address, so he should be checking this out soon . . . |
